Dear Diary,

It’s been a tough day! I got a C minus in the Biology test. I slipped in front of Jason (my ex-boyfriend). How stupid I looked! But I finally met the legends of my school, Gavin and Selina. It was totally worth having a sucking day. They are such a good match. They used to win the champion for school in the singing contest. And they were my schoolmates’ role models. Let me tell you their story.

Three years ago, my school held a Christmas party for students. The host drew lots to decide who sang a song for the audience. The spotlight flashed on Gavin and Selina. They were pulled on the stage to sing a song together. After that song, Gavin exclaimed, ‘ Wow! You’ve got a sweet voice. I’ve never heard such a great voice. I swear!’ Selina was shy and her face went bright pink. ‘Thank you. You sang very well too.’ Boom! The fireworks were so charming. When Gavin tried to ask her name and her phone number, she was gone. After the party, Gavin had kept finding Selina every day but nothing came up. He knew that he might have a crush on Selina.

On the first day of school in this academic year, Selina’s mother sent her to a new school as a transfer student. She had butterflies in her stomach. Her mother comforted her and told her to relax and enjoy her school life. Walking into a classroom, Selina got everyone’s attention. Her class teacher asked her to introduce herself. ‘Hello everyone! I’m Selina. I hope that we can get along well,’ she greeted. Gavin tittered. During the recess time, Gavin plucked up his courage to say Hi to her. ‘Hey! Do you remember me? We sang a song at the party together. My name is Gavin.’ ‘Oh! Of course I remember you. It’s nice to see you again.’ Suddenly, there was a broadcasting to invite students to join the Glee Club. They looked at each other with a meaning. And then they signed up for the Glee Club’s audition secretly.

Luckily, they both got in. A brown Afro-hair boy walked very fast to Gavin. ‘What’s up? Derek.’ Derek replied, ‘ Really? You joined the Glee Club? What’s wrong with you? You are the captain of the basketball team.’ Gavin told him that he loved singing very much and he promised he could handle both the basketball team and the Glee Club, and Derek had his words.

After a few months, the members of basketball team started to splash water to the members of Glee Club with no exception to Gavin. They looked down on the Glee Club. Gavin felt exhausted by this and he wanted to quit the Glee Club. He told Selina his thought. In return, Selina sang a song to Gavin at the Glee Club. ‘Some will win, some will lose .Some were born to sing the blues. Don’t stop believing.’ Gavin was touched but he insisted on dropping out of the Glee Club and became a sole basketball boy. Selina was upset. The Glee Club’s instructor, Mr. James, asked Selina to sing a duet in the singing contest with a fat, short hair boy who is named Ben. They practiced for many times. Selina and Gavin didn’t see each other ever since after she was totally mad at him.

On the day of the competition, Ben didn’t show up. Selina was very anxious because of the competition and no partners sang with her. She stepped onto the stage. She was wearing a white dress with a blue bow and a pair of white high heel shoes. She also put on her make-up. She sang and sang. Here came the male’s part. Selina began to sing and there was a voice on the backstage. It’s Gavin! He sang the song with Selina and held her hand. They sang it sweetly and happily. After the competition, Selina found out that the Glee Club ganged up to surprise her. She was touched and burst out tears. Gavin and Selina hugged each other and kissed. Finally, they won the champion. They were madly in love with each other. Gavin came back to Glee Club and won many cups with Selina.

This is the end of their legendary story. I was too excited to see them. I don’t think I can sleep tonight. I won’t forget the moment we met.
